About

The Right Side of Calvary Radio is the online manifestation of a desire for an FM Christian Radio Station that plays scriptural-ly based music for The Rio Grande Valley, TX. Much research  was done on how to create a terrestrial FM radio station but the process became so overwhelming that it lead to discouragement. Suggestions were made about an online radio station and since an online radio station was not part of the original plan it was never implemented or even considered.

Recently, in the online world, there has been an explosion of online music services.  As these services became more accessible and available, it still proved difficult to find good Christian music on these websites.  All of a sudden, the burden and desire to create an online radio station grew strong. From that desire, and with God's help, The Right Side of Calvary Radio was born.

Namesake

The name of this radio station is named after a song of the same name.  The song is based on one of the other men crucified with Jesus Christ.

Luke 23:32-33
And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

Luke 23:39-43
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The account of this man means a lot to me because this shows that no matter how bad or evil you think you are, you can still be saved if you see yourself as a lost sinner.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

This other man on the cross knew he was evil and knew what he deserved. He also knew who Jesus was and asked Him to remember him.  And Jesus, not being able to lie, said He would see him in paradise that same day. Which also proves, accepting and believing in Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

How You Call Upon The Lord

Do you admit that you are a sinner?

Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God?

If you are sorry for your sins and would like for God to save your soul, just ask HIM.

Just as you were born to your parents, you were born into the Kingdom of God when you call on Jesus.
